Teaching

The Open University

- Since April 2009 I have worked as Lecturer in Spanish, Faculty of Education and Language Studies. My main duties have been collaborating in the development of the curriculum for the advanced level course A Buen Puerto (L314) and for the beginners course Portales (L194).

- From 2006 to 2008, I worked as Associate Lecturer, tutoring the following Spanish Language courses:

- Portales (LZX 194) - Online beginners course running from November to October.  It was delivered via Lyceum, a teleconferencing system developed by The Open University and now substituted by Elluminate.
- Viento en Popa (L 204) - Face-to-face intermediate level course running from February to September, with regular tutorials to support open and distance learning.

University of Cambridge

- Since 2007, I have worked as Affiliated Lecturer, teaching, supervising and examining two undergraduate courses:

- Introduction to the Structures and Varieties of Modern Spanish
- The Hispanic Languages

As a support for teaching, learning, and conducting perceptual experiments I set up a Moddle space which I called Linguisticarium. It has been extremely useful in organizing the teaching, collecting homework, preparing revision activities, etc.
